시리아 난민 사역 8 - 쿠르반 바이람

'쿠르반 바이람' 3일 동안에 튀르키예 전체에서 약 350만 마리의 소나 양이 '희생제물'로 드려진다.

보통 튀르키예인들은 자신이 도축한 희생제물 중에 1/3은 이웃과 친구에게, 1/3은 가족과 친척들에게, 그리고 1/3은 시리아 난민 같은 경제적으로나 사회적으로 소외된 사람들에게 선물로 주면서 나눔을 실천한다.

그래서 우리도 시리아 난민들과 양고기를 나누는 이벤트를 실시했다. 시리아 난민 1가정 당 양고기 1 KG씩 나눠주었다.

 

About 3.5 million cattle or sheep are offered as 'sacrifices' in Turkiye in three days of 'Kurban Bayramı'(Festival of Sacrifice).

Usually, the Turkish give away 1/3 of their slaughtered sacrifices as gifts to neighbors and friends, 1/3 to family and relatives, and 1/3 to economically and socially disadvantaged people such as Syrian refugees.

So we also held an event to share lamb with Syrian refugees. 1 kg of lamb was distributed to each Syrian refugee family.
