NEWAY is primarily caring for Syrian refugees living in Türkiye(Turkey) and witnessing the Gospel to them.
And we aim to help them to live their lives as Christians in the spiritually barren land of Türkiye(Turkey), by nurturing and training them as Christ's servants.
And NEWAY may be 5 or 10 years from now, but we will prepare 'the Way' for Syrian diaspora refugees from all over the world so that they can return to their homeland and build a new city where they can rest. Therefore, we are dreaming of making the new city the most livable city in the Middle East.
Equipped with the most advanced political system, economic system, and education system in the Middle East, we will create a new city that young people living in the Middle East want to live in the most.
The New City (city-state) is, of course, completely must independent politically and religiously from neighboring countries such as Syria and Turkey.
Furthermore, we are dreamming that many young Christians will be produced through the new city, and those Christians will advance into the Middle East to evangelize the entire Middle East.
The Syrian civil war broke out on March 15, 2011, and March 15, 2021 was exactly ten years since the outbreak of the Syrian civil war.
The Syrian civil war, which seemed to end soon, has already passed 11 years since the outbreak of the civil war, but the end of the civil war is invisible as it is obscured by hazy smoke.
More than 500,000 people have died as a result of this civil war, about 6 million Syrian refugees are scattered around the world, including Turkey and Germany, and about 6 million are displaced within Syrian territory.
There are about 6 million 'Diaspora Syrians' who have fled Syria and are living scattered around the world.
These 6 million 'Diaspora Syrians' are living in a foreign land for more than 11 years due to the effects of the unfinished war, facing the harsh cold winds and suffering long winters.
We are seeing the hand of God working behind the disastrous phenomenon of the Syrian civil war. We are paying attention to this Syrian 'diaspora phenomenon', and we are seeing that God is opening up something urgent and special about the spiritual situation in the Middle East.
We believe that God allowed such a horrific war in Syria because God had a special plan. We believe that God will wonderfully bless the Syrians(Aramaic) through this war.
We know why God did not lead the Israelites out of Egypt directly to Canaan, the 'promised land', but made them live in the wilderness for 40 years.
A lot of preparation is needed to occupy the 'Promised Land' and build the kingdom of God where God reigns, the 'dream of God'.
The most important thing is that the Israelites who will occupy the 'promised land' and become the people of that land must be properly prepared for it.
The Israelites, who have lived as slaves in Egypt for hundreds of years, cannot realize that 'God's dream'. God prepared the people of that country through suffering and suffering during their 40 years in the wilderness.
Likewise, God wants to bless the Middle East. However, the spiritual situation in the Middle East is very poor. God wants to renew the spiritual situation in the Middle East. God has chosen the Syrians as a country to renew the spiritual situation in the Middle East.
God wants to renew the spiritual situation in the Middle East through Syrians and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ widely in the Middle East.
However, the spiritual situation in the Middle East is very poor because for over 1,300 years the religion of ‘Islam’ has dominated the beliefs, thoughts and values of the people living in the Middle East.
This spiritual situation cannot be changed unless it is an event that has a huge impact on people's lives, such as war, and we believe that God allowed the Syrian civil war to renew the spiritual situation in the Middle East.
God wants to evangelize the Middle East through Syrians. God wants the Syrians to be the firstborn in the Middle East.
To do this, Syrian refugees who have been scattered in the diaspora must return to their home country of Syria. God also wants Syrians who are scattered all over the world due to the diaspora to return to their homeland, Syria.
Just like the people of southern Judah who returned to the land of Judea after 70 years of being taken captive to Babylon, God wants the Syrians from the Diaspora to return to Syria.
But diaspora Syrians are not thinking of returning to Syria as long as Syrian President Assad and his family are in power in Syria. Because returning to Syria for political and religious reasons means death.
The return of diaspora Syrians requires one of the most important prerequisites. It is necessary to establish a ‘safe zone’ or ‘city-state’ that is politically and religiously separated from the Assad regime, that is, politically and religiously independent and protected.
Without this, the return of the Syrians from the diaspora is absolutely impossible.
We don't know when, but if God's City like Jerusalem is built in Syria and the diaspora Syrians return, the real 'Arab Spring' in the Middle East will only begin at that time.
